CARI Signs MoU with JNU to Boost Entrepreneurship in Ayush Industry

The Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) to initiate a landmark research project on entrepreneurship and commercialization in the Ayush industry. This collaboration aims to foster innovation in the management and commercialization of Ayush products and services, marking a new phase of growth for the sector. The project, launched during the first 100 days of the current government, reflects CARI's commitment to strengthening the Ayush ecosystem.
The research initiative is set to develop key management principles that will help Ayush products reach broader markets, creating opportunities for both traditional and modern health practices to coexist and thrive. The partnership with JNU signifies a crucial step in integrating academic research with industry needs, positioning the Ayush industry for long-term success.
CARI's MoU with JNU is just one of several achievements during this period. The institute also secured NABH accreditation, treated 1,500 marginalized patients through special camps, and launched a Geriatric Care Program that exceeded its target by reaching over 2,200 elderly patients. Furthermore, CARI is advancing the integration of Ayurveda and modern medicine by establishing a Department of Integrated Medicine at Lady Hardinge Medical College. With a strong focus on outreach, research, and patient safety, CARI continues to play a pivotal role in expanding the reach and credibility of Ayurveda in India.
Q: Is JNU MCA entrance tough?
JNU MCA admission is based on a valid Central University Entrance Test (Postgraduate) CUET-PG score. CUET PG is an all-India-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). According to test-takers, the General Test was easy and the Domain Knowledge section was moderate to tough. Although the questions were on the expected lines and within the CUET PG syllabus but according to some students, a few questions were out of the syllabus and tricky. So, the JNU MCA entrance is not very tough but can be tricky.
Q: Is it worth joining JNU for a BSc course?
Jawaharlal Nehru University has been ranked second among the top universities of India in the NIRF ranking 2023. Thus, it is a good university for BSc course aspirants. As per the NIRF report 2023, the median package offered during JNU placements 2022 to UG (3-year) students was INR 6 LPA. Q: Is MBA from JNU a good option?
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) offers a two-year full-time MBA course at the postgraduate level. It is offered by the university through the Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management & Entrepreneurship. JNU was ranked 2nd position in the University category by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024. Talking about JNU placements, the median package offered during JNU PG 2-year placements in 2023 stood at INR 9.5 LPA. So, yes JNU is a decent option to pursue an MBA degree.
