CBSE Class XII Results: Topper scores 99.6%, girls outshine boys

CBSE Class 12 results have once again brought Delhi students in the spotlight with the toppers for all streams being from the city. The board exam topper is Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj’s science stream student, Sarthak Agarwal who has scored a whopping 99.6% aggregate. The topper for commerce stream is G. Harishankar from Airforce Bal Bharti, Lodhi Road with a score of 99.2 % whereas the arts stream has two toppers Vasudha Dixit of Vasant Valley, Delhi and Mugdh Setia from DPS Indirapuram with a score of 98.8% each.

Thiruvananthapuram recorded the highest pass percentage of 94.26% and the overall pass percentage for Delhi was 86.78%.

Like last year, this year too girls have outperformed boys by securing an overall pass percentage of 88.52% whereas 78.27% was the overall pass percentage for boys. The pass percentage in CBSE Class 12 board exams for boys and girls in different regions is as follows:
