The five phases of CUET (UG); i.e. Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3, Phase 4, and Phase 5 involving about 12.04 lakh candidates are now over. The fourth and last day of CUET UG recorded the attendance of over 1.40 lakh candidates (1,40,559).

CUET UG 2022: The National Testing Agency (NTA) concluded the last day of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022 phase 6 exam. The fourth and last day of CUET UG recorded the attendance of over 1.40 lakh candidates (1,40,559).

The NTA in an official statement said, " The five phases of CUET (UG); i.e. Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3, Phase 4, and Phase 5 involving about 12.04 lakh candidates are now over. The Phase 6 of CUET (UG) 2022 started on August 24, 2022. In both slots 72,729 students participated. The second and third day of CUET (UG) 2022 Phase 6 were conducted for 52,139 candidates and 66,466 candidates respectively in both slots. A total of 14.90 lakh candidates were scheduled for this examination."

"The fourth and last day of Phase 6 of CUET (UG) – 2022 i.e. August 30, 2022 (Tuesday) was conducted successfully for 1,40,559 candidates in 444 Examination Centres throughout 239 Cities including four cities outside India (Muscat, Riyadh, Dubai, and Sharjah) in both slots. However, as per initial reports of today, due to slow internet speed, the examination at Centre Radha Govind University, Ramgarh, Jharkhand could not be conducted. However, detailed report is awaited. Examination for 103 affected candidates will be conducted shortly. In both slots, Uttar Pradesh had maximum numbers of candidates (52,885) with 125 Examination Centres followed by West Bengal (10,744) with 35 Examination Centres. Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Daman & Diu, Lakshadweep, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Puducherry, Sikkim and Tripura and Cities outside India had one Examination Centre each. The attendance across the Country is estimated to be about 60 percent," the statement added.
