CUTN’s 9th Convocation: President Murmu to Award Degrees to 614 Graduates on Nov 30
President Murmu will offer guidance and encouragement to the students along with conferring gold medals on 22 excellent students and degrees for 22 doctoral graduates who have made significant contributions to their respective fields of research.
Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) will conduct its 9th convocation on November 30, 2024. The convocation ceremony of CUTN will be held between 3:10 pm to 4:20 pm at the University’s campus in Neelakudi, Thiruvarur. The President of India, Droupadi Murmu will be the chief guest of Central University of Tamil Nadu for this glorious event.
Besides, several notable public figures such as R.N. Ravi (Honourable Governor of Tamil Nadu), Dharmendra Pradhan (Honourable Minister for Education, Government of India) and M.K. Stalin (Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu) will grace the event with their presence.
President Murmu will address the students and will offer guidance and encouragement to the university scholars. She will further confer Gold Medals on 33 top-ranking students and present degree certificates to 22 doctoral graduates. These scholars have made significant contributions to their research field and have made the university proud.
Central University of Tamil Nadu Convocation: 614 Students to Receive Degrees
During the CUTN 9th Convocation, a total of 614 students will receive their degree of Honour. Students from a diverse group of academics will be honoured for their excellent performance in their respective fields. Out of the total 614 students, 342 will be female and 272 will be male graduates depicting gender equality at the university. CUTN currently offer excellent academics across 28 departments at 13 schools for a wide array of integrated postgraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes.
