Registration for these courses will open on February 15, 2024, and continue until March 15, 2024. Classes are set to commence on April 1, 2024.

The University of Delhi's School of Open Learning unveiled 21 cutting-edge courses under the "Centre for Innovative Skill-Based Courses," aimed at equipping students with the expertise needed for diverse sectors in today's competitive job market.

Prof. Payal Mago, Director, Campus of Open Learning, extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guests, expressing her gratitude for their presence. Prof. Mago emphasized the blessing of having esteemed figures from academia, government, and business at the event, underlining the significance of the occasion.

Prof. Yogesh Singh delivered a powerful statement, affirming Delhi University's commitment to spearheading the vision of "Viksit Bharat@2047." He highlighted the university's dedication to achieving national goals through the Center for Innovative Skill-Based Courses, which he believes will be a transformative platform for both students and the country.

The event featured the release of brochures for the 21 courses, covering a spectrum of skills such as English proficiency, cyber security, AC refrigerator repair, beauty and hair lab, motor driving for girls, personal finance, and more. Course partners, including Think Cyber, Samarth Bharat, Nergy 360, Taxmann Allied Services, R K Films, and Media Academy, were prominently featured in the brochures.

James Dingle, emphasizing the significance of English proficiency, underlined how the collaboration with the School of Open Learning can enhance students' employment opportunities both within India and abroad.

The courses cater to a wide range of interests and market demands, promising to elevate students' careers by facilitating seamless entry into their desired fields. Registration for these courses will open on February 15, 2024, and continue until March 15, 2024. Classes are set to commence on April 1, 2024.
