Dibrugarh University Postpones 3-Year LLB Examination Owing To Floods

Dibrugarh University LLB fourth and sixth semester examination 2024 has been postponed till further notice amidst severe flood conditions in several districts of Assam. Check the official notification of the Dibrugarh University exam date postponement here. 

Dibrugarh University, Guwahati, has extended the remaining 3-year LLB 4th and 6th-semester examination for the academic session 2024-25 due to severe flood conditions in the state. The Dibrugarh University exam date 2024 for the LLB programme was between July 2 to 9, 2024. However, the examination has been postponed till further notice amid extreme weather conditions in the state of Assam. 

The university will announce revised Dibrugarh University exam dates in 2024 once the situation normalises. The authorities have notified that the fresh schedule of the examination will be notified as soon as the situation becomes normal, atleast one week before the commencement of the examination. 

Meanwhile, the authorities have further notified that the 5-year Integrated BA/BBA/BCom LLB even semester examination shall continue as per the scheduled date and time. 

Dibrugarh University Assam was established in 1965 and is a state-level public university. It is recognised by the UGC, AIU and PCI, among others. The university was accredited by NAAC with a B++ grade. Dibrugarh University has more than five faculty of studies, including the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Humanities & Law. With over 175 affiliated colleges, the university offers numerous UG, PG and doctoral-level courses in several streams and specialisations.
