DU Admissions 2022: Over 11,600 candidates upgraded, 8,133 new applications received in round 2
In total, 33,739 candidates had earlier applied for the upgradation of their seats in Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) round 2. Out of which over 34 per cent have been given higher college and course preferences.
DU Admissions 2022: More than 11,600 candidates who were allotted seats in the Delhi University (DU) first merit list have been upgraded to a college and course of their preference in DU second merit list 2022. As many as 8,133 new candidates have now been allotted seats in the DU 2nd merit list that was released on October 31, for admission to undergraduate courses.
In total, 33,739 candidates had earlier applied for the upgradation of their seats in Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) round 2. Out of which over 34 per cent have been given higher college and course preferences. It must be noted that admission to the second round of allocation is underway. 1,868 applications are under process, as per reports.
The admission under the second merit will be done until today; i.e. November 1 by 4.59 pm. DU colleges will verify the application and approve the seats by tomorrow; i.e. November 2, 2022. Candidates can pay the DU admission fee after the college approval by November 3, till 4.59 pm.
As per the schedule, Delhi University will display the list of vacant seats after second DU merit list on November 4 at 5 pm. The mid entry window and window to re-order higher preferences will be available from November 5, 10 am to November 7, 4.59 pm.
In the DU's first round of seat allocations, 59,100 candidates have secured admission. A total of 15,398 candidates have confirmed their seats in the first round. Delhi University is offering admission to nearly 70,000 seats in almost 209 programmes. After the DU first seat allocation, most seats in some of the colleges including Miranda house, Hindu College, St. Stephan College have been filled.
