DU Admissions 2022: Over 60,000 candidates accept allotted seats in DU First Merit List

In the first seat allotment, Delhi University allotted seat 80,164 candidates out of which 60,863 candidates have accepted the offered course and college. As per the official data shared by Vikas Gupta, Registrar, Delhi University, "39,526 admissions are under process."

Delhi University Admission 2022: Delhi University admission process is currently underway for various undergraduate courses. The University of Delhi has issued the DU First Merit List 2022 for all the registered candidates. The DU UG Merit list 2022 was released at 5 pm on October 19, 2022, on the official website. Candidates can download the DU UG simulated merit list in online mode at admission.uod.ac.in.

From this year onwards, DU Admissions are being conducted through the CUET scores. CUET UG scores 2022 for top colleges are however quite high this year. DU colleges like Miranda House, SRCC have allotted seats to students who have secured 800 marks in the CUET exam 2022. The margin between the Highest score and lowest score is very less making the competition higher than ever. 

Like every year, DU admissions are expected to be high. DU registrar said that "University is expecting to fill all 70,000 seats in the first list itself." As per the DU Admission schedule, candidates will be required to accept the allocated seat by today, i.e. October 21, 2022. DU Colleges 2022 will conduct the verification of online applications until October 22, 2022.
