Students interested in DU Admissions 2023 have to register at the CSAS portal through the official website, i.e. admission.uod.ac.in. the Delhi University admission process 2023 will be held in two phases — the first phase for registration and the second for seat allocation after CUET results are declared. 

DU Admissions 2023: Delhi University has commenced the admission process for its undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD courses. The varsity has offered around 71,000 seats for admission to 78 undergraduate programmes and 198 BA programme combinations in 68 colleges. Students interested in DU Admissions 2023 have to register at the CSAS portal through the official website, i.e. admission.uod.ac.in.

According to the official statement given by DU Vice Chancellor Yogesh Singh during a press meet, the Delhi University admission process 2023 will be held in two phases — the first phase for registration and the second for seat allocation after CUET results are declared. The portal will open for mid-entry for candidates who missed out in registering the first time around. Those students will have to pay an additional fee of INR 1000.

DU Admission 2023: Documents Required for CSAS portal registration

  • Class 10 certificate including the name, date of birth and parents’ names of the candidates.
  • Class 12 marksheet with the candidate’s name.
  • Category certificate (SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, Minority, CW, KM, PwBD) in the name of the candidate issued by the competent issuing authority. The name of the candidate on the certificate should match with that on their corresponding school board qualifying certificate and CUET UG 2023 application form. The parents’ names should also match in both sets of certificates.
  • OBC-NCL (Other Backward Classes- Non-Creamy Layer) certificate issued in the name of the candidate by a competent authority and wherein the caste is in the OBC Central List issued by ncbc.nic.in. The name of the candidate must match with their school board qualifying certificate and CUET UG 2023 application form. The same rule will apply to the names of parents. The income certificate must be issued after March 31, 2023. The format of the OBC-NCL is in the information brochure of CSAS.
  • EWS certificate with income certificate issued after March 31, 2023.
  • Candidates claiming admission through ECA/Sports supernumerary quota must upload self-attested copies of the requisite certificates and produce relevant required certificates when sought.
  • In order to apply for BSc Physical Education, Health Education and Sports, candidates have to upload— medical fitness certificate (as per the format given in the information brochure), up to three sports proficiency certificates.
  • The PwBD certificate issued in the name of the candidate should be by a recognised government hospital, bearing the photograph of the candidate (format is available in the information brochure). Disability certificates issued after June 1, 2021 shall be as per Gazette Notification number 1736 (E) and disability certificates issued before June 1, 2021 shall be as per other existing applicable rules and notifications of the Department Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities and University of Delhi.
  • Candidates applying under the CW (Children/Widows of Personnel of the Armed Forces) category have to upload the Educational Concession Certificate (ECC) in the name of the candidate in the format where the priority is clearly indicated.
  • Candidates applying under the KM (Kashmiri Migrant) category have to upload the relevant certification in the 56 correct format issued by Divisional Commissioner/ Relief Commissioner.
  • Candidates belonging to Sikh and Christian Minority categories have to produce the certificate of minority at the time of admission including details of their minority status issued by any government organisation/ local municipality/ panchayat/ education board/ school leaving certificate, etc., or as applicable, issued by the DSGMC/DMC or Baptism Certificate and/or Church membership certificate.
  • Candidates seeking admission under orphans quota will have to upload the death certificates of both parents or a certificate indicating they are orphans from a government recognised orphanage/ charitable home.
