ICSSR Begins Applications to Submit Project Proposals; Apply Online by October 24 @icssr.org
ICSSR project proposals application process 2024 is ongoing at icssr.org till October 24, 2024 for Indian social scientists and academicians/ scholars/ researchers in humanities under its scheme of Major & Minor Research Projects.
Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) is inviting project proposals from Indian social scientists and academicians/ scholars/ researchers in humanities under its scheme of Major & Minor Research Projects for the session 2024-25. Students willing to apply for the project proposal application are suggested to read the admission guidelines before submitting the application form. Further, Applicants are advised to fill the application form well before the ICCSR project proposal last date 2024 in order to avoid last moment rush. The candidates shall submit an online application on the ICSSR website as per the following schedule:

How to Apply?
The application form along with the advertisement is available on the ICSSR website/Students have to submit the online application along with the research proposal, annexures, and other required documents in the prescribed format, duly forwarded by the competent authorities of the affiliating institution.
Duration and Budget

| Minor Project | 12 months | INR 15 Lakh |
| Major Project | 24 months | INR 30 Lakh |
Researchers must note that only one project at a time shall be ratified. However, this will not be appropriate for minor projects/short-term empirical research projects of a duration equal to or less than 12 months.
