Students who have availed of the Ishan Uday Scholarship in the year 2023-24 can apply for renewal of the scholarship on or before October 31, 2024, for session 2024-25.

UGC has started the Ishan Uday Scholarship for the North Eastern Region (NER) students. Interested candidates can fill the application form online at the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). The authorities are accepting applications till October 31, 2024. However, students are suggested not to wait for the Ishan Uday Scholarship registration last date 2024 and to apply at the earliest to avoid last-minute discrepancies. 

Students who have passed class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board of education situated within NER can apply for a scholarship from the official website. The Ishan Uday Scholarship for the students of NER of the University Grants Commission (UGC) is implemented through NSP.

"The Ishan Uday Scholarship for the North Eastern Region (NER) of the UGC is implemented through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). Applications under the scheme are invited annually. The National Scholarship Portal is currently open for receiving applications until October 31, 2024. Eligible students may submit applications on the NSP at the earliest to avoid last minute rush. The students who have availed of the Ishan Uday Scholarship in the Academic Year 2023-24 can apply for renewal, if eligible, till October 31, 2024, for the subsequent Academic Year 2024-2025. After that, the students would not be able to claim the scholarship." The official notification reads.
