KSOU Virtual Placements 2023: Companies with over 2,000 job vacancies to participate

More than 10 companies looking to fill up nearly 2,000 job vacancies will take part in the mega virtual placement drive.

KSOU Placement Drive 2023: Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) is all set to organize a 15-day end-to-end job fair. This is the first time ever that any state university in Karnataka will be conducting a placement drive via virtual mode for students. KSOU Virtual Placement Drive 2023 will begin on April 15. According to the official reports, more than 10 companies looking to fill up nearly 2,000 job vacancies will take part in the mega virtual placement drive. Students from all undergraduate and postgraduate programme will be allowed to sit for the placement process. The virtual mela will enable the participation of large number of students.

Addressing a press meeting here on Monday, KSOU Vice-Chancellor Professor Sharanappa V Halse said the placement drive is open for undergraduate and postgraduate students of the university.

“Candidates can find over 2,000-plus job opportunities from more than 10 companies with salary packages starting from INR 3 lakh per annum to INR 6 lakh per annum. The objective is to help students across the state find job opportunities virtually without compelling them to come from faraway places,” he said.

As part of the placement drive, the varsity has also decided to train the candidates in webinars where they are taught on how to build their digital resumes.
