MAHE, Roche Diagnostics India Signs MoU to Establish CoE for Skill Development and Innovation
MAHE signs an MoU with Roche Diagnostics India to establish a Centre of Excellence for Skill Development and Innovation in order to gain academic and industrial excellence in the field of healthcare diagnostics.
Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) and Roche Diagnostics India Pvt Ltd. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) at the premises. The Centre of Excellence aims to offer skill development and innovation in the field of diagnostics. Through this collaboration, both stakeholders are looking towards a significant step to strengthen the academia and industry to improve healthcare diagnostics.
The MoU was signed by the registrar of MAHE (Dr. Giridhar Kini) and MD of Roche Diagnostics India (Dr. Rishubh Gupta). This collaborative effort will focus on developing advanced diagnostic tools and training healthcare professionals to use cutting-edge technologies. Further, MAHE experts will present their insights on advanced lab technologies and clinical assays at national and international Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs and seminars.
Benefits of Centre of Excellence
The Centre of Excellence will act as a medium for executing pioneering research, sharing knowledge and facilitating workshops to foster a culture of innovation and excellence in diagnostics. The collaboration will offer significant advancements in healthcare, eventually directing to better patient care and disease management.
M.D. Venkatesh, Vice Chancellor of MAHE said that by promoting a culture of cooperation and knowledge exchange, the MoU will accelerate scientific advancements in diagnostics, resulting in better healthcare outcomes for the community.
Dr. Rishubh Gupta, MD of Roche Diagnostics India, expressed his commitment to pioneering high-value innovations in diagnostics stating " Our collaboration with Manipal underscores our shared commitment to advancing innovative testing solutions in India.
