NIRF Rankings 2022 College: DU colleges dominates list, Miranda, Hindu in Top ten

Five Delhi University colleges secure positions in the top ten best colleges in India in NIRF College Ranking 2022. Read further to know more.

Miranda House of Delhi University has once again topped the list of the best colleges in India in the NIRF Ranking 2022. The Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced the NIRF Ranking 2022 today; i.e July 15, 2022. Along with Miranda House, four other colleges of Delhi University have secured their place in the top ten best colleges in India in NIRF Ranking 2021.

Hindu College, New Delhi stood at Rank 2, Presidency College, Chennai stood at Rank 3, Loyola College, Chennai stood at Rank 4 and  Lady Shri Ram College for Women stood at Rank 5. While most of the institutes in the list of top 10 colleges of India remain the same as last year, some of them have shown significant improvement in ranking. 

This year, top 10 list saw new entriesi.e, of  Atma Ram Santan Dharam College, New Delhi at Rank 7, Kirori Mal College, New Delhi, at Rank 10.

NIRF Rankings were launched in 2015. The ranking framework has various pre-defined parameters on the basis of which the Universities and institutions in the country are ranked. There is a total of 5 parameters are considered for the ranking of the educational institutes. These are: Teaching & Learning, Research and Professional Practice, Graduation Outcome, Outreach & Inclusivity and Perception.
