NTA exam schedule released for 2019-20 session; dates you must know

The NTA on August 21 released the schedule of exams to be conducted between December 2019 and June 2020. The NTA exam schedule has been released on the official website and candidates can check the dates for various exams below.
The UGC NET December 2019 exam will be organised between December 2 and December 6, and the result will be released on December 31. Meanwhile, the JEE Mains 2020 is scheduled to be held on January 2 and January 11 next year. Its result will be declared on January 31, 2020. The exam for medical aspirants, NEET UG 2020, will be conducted on May 3 next year and the result will be out on June 4.
Aspirants who wish to apply for the exams must check the exam schedule and plan their preparation accordingly. It is advised that students complete all the syllabus and practice solving as many sample papers or previous years question papers to familiarise themselves with the exam pattern, marking scheme, duration and more.
The NTA has established a network of Test Practice Centres (TPCs) across the country to familiarise aspiring students with the computer-based test before the exam. Nearly 4,000 schools/engineering colleges with computer centres will be available every Saturday and Sunday starting from September 1, and more will be added with time. Candidates from across the country, especially those hailing from remote and rural areas can choose the nearest TPC for free of cost.
The table below lists all the exams to be conducted by the NTA between the period December 2019 and June 2020 along with their important dates and exam overview. Candidates are advised to keep the list handy so as not to skip any important event.
