Rashtriya Raksha University, CyberPeace, SASTRA collaborate to enhance cybersecurity infrastructure

The collaboration aims at bringing joint research projects, students and faculty exchange, comprehensive training modules and curriculum development.

Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) and Gujarat, and the Security and Scientific Technology Research Association (SASTRA) have collaborated by signing an agreement with CyberPeace to strengthen national and global cybersecurity infrastructure. The collaboration aims at bringing joint research projects, students and faculty exchange, comprehensive training modules and curriculum development.

The institutes will also aim at harnessing the combined expertise and resources to foster innovation and excellence in cybersecurity and cyber defence. As per the agreement, a RRU-CyberPeace Center of Excellence will be set up at Rashtriya Raksha University, which will serve as a hub for cutting-edge research and development in cybersecurity, focusing on critical and emerging technologies.

CyberPeace and Rashtriya Raksha University will develop robust cyber threat intelligence capabilities. The partnership is committed to capacity building through diverse training programs in cyber operations, digital forensics, cyber law, and cyber diplomacy beyond traditional cybersecurity frameworks. It will leverage the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, blockchain and quantum computing to address complex cybersecurity challenges.

RRU is a central university and an institute of national importance located in Gandhinagar. RRU specializes in national and internal security and police.
