SBI Foundation Released Youth for India Fellowship for SBI Employees, OCIs, and Citizens of Nepal & Bhutan

SBI Foundation, the CSR arm of the State Bank Group, has launched a special drive for the 12th batch of the SBI Youth for India Fellowship (YIF). Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), citizens of Nepal and Bhutan, and SBI employees can apply for SBI YIF online till September 17, 2024 (Tuesday). They can apply at the official website: register.youthforindia.org. This 13-month program offers fresh graduates and young professionals a structured opportunity to work with rural communities and 13 NGOs across India.
Who are eligible for SBI Youth for India Fellowship?
To be eligible for the Fellowship Program under this special drive, candidates must be Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), citizens of Nepal or Bhutan, or SBI employees in Scale I or II. Applicants must be between 21 and 32 years old as of the program start date, October 7, 2024. Those selected have to report to Tilonia, Kishangarh, Rajasthan on October 5, 2024, to begin their journey.

Modeled after the US Peace Corps, the SBI Youth for India Fellowship is a distinctive 13-month program launched by SBI Foundation in 2011. It offers talented youth a structured opportunity to work with rural communities, understand their challenges, and engage with their aspirations. Over the past 13 years, 10 batches of over 580 Fellows have driven development through youth-led initiatives.
