Sharda University celebrates 28th foundation day; honours faculty, staff
On the occasion, Sharda University honoured faculty, staff, and officers “as a token of appreciation for their devotion to the group and for working at the institute for more than 15 years”.
Sharda University Foundation Day: Sharda University rejoiced and celebrated its 28th foundation day recently. On the occasion, the university honoured faculty, staff, and officers “as a token of appreciation for their devotion to the group and for working at the institute for more than 15 years”.
In a unique celebration, the foundation day began with a cricket match, wherein staff and alumni association took part.
Chancellor of Sharda University, PK Gupta said: “Sharda University students are doing a good job and contributing to the nation's progress. Saurabh Gupta, a Sharda Group student, was a member of the ISRO team that helped make Chandrayaan a success. The organisation has also created a world-class medical college in Noida, where people were given free care during the COVID crisis.”
Speaking at the event, pro-chancellor of Sharda University, YK Gupta said: “Foundation Day places a joint obligation on us to progress the institution's aims, uphold its values and shared purpose, and create opportunities for others. We have constructed a one-of-a-kind learning environment to devote our complete attention to developing tomorrow's citizens through innovative ways of thinking, doing, connecting, and being.”
Ajit Kumar formally announced that the Sharda Alumni Association won the cricket match by seven wickets. As part of celebrity night, Bollywood singer Dev Negi performed live on campus. Dev Negi sang some of his famous songs.
