TISS PhD Admission 2024

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has announced the PhD admission dates for the academic session 2024-25 on the official website. Students who are willing for TISS PhD admission 2024 can check the important dates here to ensure they do not miss any important updates. As per the schedule, the TISS PhD registration link is activated till December 4, 2024.

Students can fill the application form online. However, it is suggested that students must fill the registration form at the earliest to avoid last-minute discrepancies. Once the registration process is completed, the authorities will conduct the online personal interview on December 12, 13, 14 and 16, 2024.

Selection criteria for TISS PhD admission 2024

Students must adhere to the selection criteria for admission to TISS PhD admission 2024 here:

  • For Category 2 and 3 of UGC-NET 2024, 70% weightage is given to their NET score and 30% weightage will be given to personal interview.
  • For students with JRF, the selection will be done based on personal interviews only. 
  • Students have to upload a research proposal with a minimum of 2000 words on their proposed research and the personal interview will be based on research subject only.

Candidates who qualifies the eligibility criteria as per the TISS Mumbai admission guidelines are eligible for the all the programme offered by the institution. A:

To be eligible for the MBA (EPGD programme) at TISS the candidates require a minimum of three years of post-graduation work experience. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree with a duration of at least three years or an equivalent qualification from an accredited university. This degree can be acquired through various educational formats like 10+2+3, 10+2+4, 10+2+2+1 (with a bridge course), or any other structure that meets the prerequisite of completing 15 years of formal education.
