UGC has stated that neither the Council of Human Resource Education Development (CHRED) nor its affiliated list of universities has been officially recognized under Section 2(f) or Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued a stern caution against the Council of Human Resource Education Development for flagrant breaches of the UGC Act, 1956, by offering multiple courses.

UGC has stated that enrolling in B.Sc. programs offered by such institutions might jeopardize the future career prospects of students.

The University Grants Commission has recently observed that the Council of Human Resource Education Development, situated at Tarsali, O.N.G.C. Road, G.W.B. Sub Station, near Sai Mandir, Tarsali, Vadodara, Gujarat-390009, is offering various courses in clear violation of the UGC Act, 1956.

According to Section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956, it is explicitly stated that the authority to grant degrees is strictly limited to institutions specifically empowered by the Act. Any other institution, whether established by a Central Act, Provincial Act, State Act, or any entity deemed a university under section 3 or an Act of Parliament, is prohibited from conferring degrees.

As neither the Council of Human Resource Education Development (0/260) nor its affiliated list of universities has been officially recognized under Section 2(f) or Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, they lack the legal authority to award any degrees in accordance with section 22.

Consequently, this public notice serves as a cautionary advisory to students, parents, and the general public, urging them to refrain from seeking admission in these self-proclaimed institutions. Enrolling in B.Sc. programs offered by such institutions might jeopardize the future career prospects of students.
