West Bengal UG Admission 2024: The West Bengal Council of Higher Education (WBCHSE) has commenced the registration process for the undergraduate admissions 2024-25. Eligible candidates seeking admission to West Bengal Universities can apply for WB UG admission 2024 online. WB UG Admission 2024 process has begun on the newly launched centralised admission portal, wbcap.in.

Candidates who have qualified for the Class 12 or equivalent examination can apply in the online centralised portal for WB UG Admission 2024. West Bengal Board announced WBCHSE results 2024 on May 8, 2024. Meanwhile, CBSE 12th Result 2024 and ISC Result 2024 were released on May 13 and May 6, respectively.

Candidates seeking admission to West Bengal Universities for undergraduate admission may apply using the below-mentioned steps:

• Go to the official portal, i.e. wbcap.in
• Navigate and click on the link to register
• In the input fields, enter mobile number and email ID to register.
• After registering successfully, fill the application form.
• Upload the documents and fill course preferences
• Submit the details and save the form
• Take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference

Documents required for West Bengal UG Admission 2024

During West Bengal University admission 2024 for undergraduate courses, students are required to upload the scanned copies of the following documents:

• Proof of date of birth
• Class 12 registration certificate or documents showing unique ID number
• Class 10 marksheet
• Class 12 marksheet
• Relevant social category certificate if applicable
• PWD certificate (if applicable)
• EWS certificate (if applicable)

Universities Not Included in WB UG Admission 2024

The centralized admission system for West Bengal University Admission 2024 for Undergraduate Admission does not include Jadavpur University, Presidency University, autonomous colleges, minority educational institutes or colleges, training colleges, law colleges, colleges or universities offering courses like fine arts and performing arts, crafts, dance, music, colleges offering engineering, pharmacy, nursing, medical courses and self-financing or private.
