IIITDM Placements 2022: The Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing, Kurnool students bagged a whopping job offer from the giant of the online shopping industry, Amazon.
Computer Science student bag INR 1.3 crore job offer
A final year student of Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing, Kurnool, received a plum job offer from Amazon. The student has bagged the job role of software development engineer.
Talking about the record-breaking job offer, Institute Director D Somayajulu said that the student, Deepak Rathore, was offered INR1.3 crore as the average annual salary package for the role based in Berlin in Germany.
The director also congratulated the student, who hails from Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh.
In an official press release, IIITDM Kurnool Director praised the training that students received in the institution. He further said that the training and placement cell had trained the students to face the job interviews successfully.
Nine engineering students from Jadavpur University bag over INR 1 crore package
Jadavpur University (JU) witnessed the best placement season this year. Nine students from various engineering departments bagged overseas jobs with over INR 1 Crore pay package. According to the institute, the international offers have been made to Debarshi Maitra, Kush Mishra from production engineering, Ritwik Raj, Rupayan Ghosh from information technology, Satyam Kumar, Shubham Kumar Mondal from computer science and engineering and Chiradeep Dey, Satyaki Das and Saikat Chakraborty from electronics and telecommunication engineering. Google made the highest package offer of a whopping INR 1.4 crore to Debarshi. Despite the ongoing pandemic situation, the institute managed to bag overwhelming international offers.
