NIMCET 2025 registration process to commence soon; check eligibility criteria, pattern

NIMCET 2025 registration link is expected to be available online soon. All candidates will have to complete the NIMCET 2025 registration process to participate in the entrance exam. Read to know more about the NIMCET 2025 application form, eligibility and pattern.

National Institutes of Technology is expected to commence the NIMCET 2025 registration process soon. Candidates will be able to access the NIMCET 2025 registration link online at nimcet.admissions.nic.in. No other mode of application will be accepted by the authorities. The official NIMCET 2025 dates will also be announced online through the information brochure. Valid personal, academic and contact information has to be submitted in the NIMCET 2025 application form to participate in the entrance exam and admission process.

NIMCET 2025 eligibility criteria

Before NIMCET 2025 registration, the candidates are advised to carefully check the eligibility criteria. If the candidates are found ineligible, then they will not be considered for admission.

• All candidates should be of Indian nationality.
• Should have completed graduation (minimum 3 years) from a recognized University in BSc/BSc (Hons)/BCA/BIT courses with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent as one of the compulsory subjects.
• For General category candidates, the minimum aggregate mark to be secured in the qualifying exam is 60% or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale. However, for SC/ST category candidates, the minimum aggregate mark is 55% or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale.
• Candidates who will qualify the exam on the admission year will also be eligible.
• BE/BTech-qualified candidates will also be considered eligible.

NIMCET is held annually by the NITs for MCA admissions. Qualified candidates will be eligible for admission into the MCA course offered by NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Patna, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli, Warangal and IIIT at Bhopal. No other score will be accepted for NIMCET admissions.
