SIT Pune placement: Sanket Shevkar gets highest package of INR 42 lakh

Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), Pune hosted its placement drive for AY 2022, Sanket Shevkar has bagged the highest package of INR 42 lakh.

The acceleration of the job market post-Covid-19 pandemic is leading to impressive placements on IT campuses. The latest is, Sanket Shevkar, a final year BTech student of Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), Pune has got the highest package of INR 42 lakh.

SIT has hosted its placement drive for AY 2022, the latest batch of B Tech graduates have achieved 97% placement in record time. The median package for the batch was INR 6 lakh per annum.

The recruitment drive saw the participation of a plethora of national and international companies spanning various industries and domains offering global opportunities to the students. Leading recruiters at the drive included Indeed, Microsoft, Bajaj Finserv Group, Deloitte Consulting India Pvt Ltd, Cimpress, MiQ Digital India Pvt Ltd, Netcracker Technology, GE Aviation, Dassault Systems, Persistent, Philips India Ltd, and Atomberg Technologies Pvt Ltd. 

As per the institute, "SIT Pune’s Training and Placement Cell provides complete support to the visiting companies and makes arrangements for pre-placement talks, online assessments, interviews, and group discussions for its students.
