JEE Main 2022 Session 2 Exam Begins on July 25: Last Minute Revision Tips
The JEE Main 2022 Session 2 exam is approaching, so best wishes for your preparation and performance. Shiksha.com brings you last-minute revision tips for JEE Main 2022 Session 2, which are as follows:
- It is recommended that students do not attempt any new questions in the final week before the JEE Main examination day. A student must sleep for about 6 to 7 hours a night and must eat healthy food.
- Every day, students can do a short meditation or some kind of relaxation exercise for a few minutes that will help them to remain calm and focused.
- Take a small break of about 5 to 10 minutes after an hour of study to relax the mind. It will help with improving concentration and also the student will not feel fatigued.
- Students should not feel discouraged if, at first glance, a paper appears difficult, as it is a relative performance that matters.
- Discussing with people before the exam usually brings up unnecessary thoughts and opinions. So, before the exam, try to avoid interacting with your classmates or other candidates as much as possible.
- Students should take a deep breath while entering the examination hall and also before attempting the paper. Be composed and confident. Have faith in yourself and in your preparation. It is also important to go through the paper before solving it; see the number of questions, marking scheme, negative marking, etc.
- It is also suggested that students attempt the questions they believe are easy and confident in answering first, and then move on to the questions that are progressively more difficult. The golden rule while solving the paper is to spend an average of 2 minutes on a single question. There is no need to be stuck with any of the questions due to ego.
- In the last week of preparation, students should focus on taking more and more JEE Main mock tests. Solve model/sample and previous years' papers from a few years back, that too in a simulated examination environment with a watch to mark the time. In this way, students will be able to master the skills of tackling JEE Main and Advanced with speed and accuracy. Also, he or she will develop an examination temperament. They will be able to identify their weak areas and take remedial measures for progressive improvement. This will also help them to sharpen their problem-solving abilities and time-management skills.
- Students can revise some theories and important formulas. Examine the more weighted sections of previous year's JEE Main question papers and plan accordingly.
- One more important thing to remember is that you are not alone in the exam. Thousands of students are with you. Also, the paper will have been equally tough for them.
- If in the paper while solving questions, you feel that any question that requires more time can be marked for review and answered later.
