JNTU engineering college at Wanaparthy to begin classes from this academic year
All important engineering courses, including CSE, CSE (artificial intelligence and machine learning), ECE, civil and mechanical engineering, will be offered from the current academic session, said Telangana Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy.
Telangana Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy said the newly announced government engineering college at Wanaparthy which is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) will begin its classes from the current academic year with an intake of 300 students.
He said this during a meeting with Higher Education Commissioner Naveen Mittal, JNTU Vice-Chancellor Katta Narsingha Reddy, Registrar Manzoor Hussain, Telangana State Higher Education Council Chairman Prof Limbadri, Vice Chairman Venkata Ramana and others.
All important engineering courses, including CSE, CSE (artificial intelligence and machine learning), ECE, civil and mechanical engineering, will be offered from the current academic session. A delegation from the JNTU and technical education officials are likely to visit Wanaparthy on March 17 to finalise the layout design, structures and facilities in line with the AICTE norms.
The engineering college at Wanaparthy will be set up by utilising the existing infrastructure and other facilities available at the Government Polytechnic, Wanaparthy.
JNTUH to hold 2nd, 3rd, 4th semester exams for UG students from March 29
The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) has issued a circular regarding the conduct of computer-based test (CBT) for fourth-year first semester, third-year first semester and second-year first semester BTech/BPharm regular students, who were absent during mid-term exams conducted at the college, in March 2022.
It notified that CBT shall also be conducted for the students who are transferred from other universities/autonomous colleges under JNTUH and for the internal marks component of substitute subjects. The CBT for fourth-year first semester, third-year first semester and second-year first semester will begin on March 29, 2022.
