KTU Placements 2022: 90 engineering students bag jobs

KTU Placements 2022: The placement drive facilitated by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University witnessed as many as 90 students bagging overwhelming job offers. APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University had organized a recruitment drive for engineering students of affiliated colleges. The placement drive was conducted for Nest Digital. According to the official report, the students have been offered a salary of INR 3.5 lakh in CTC, in addition to a first-year retention bonus of INR 1 lakh.
On July 8, a felicitation ceremony will be conducted by Nest Digital to thank the parents and students who were placed, a statement from the university said here on July 4. The placement drive was coordinated by placement officers of the College of Engineering, Munnar, MBIT, MEA Engineering College and Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology.
GTech honors the excellence of KTU teachers
Meanwhile, the teachers of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University were recognised and honored by GTech, a consortium of IT companies. The selection the best teachers was done by GTech by evaluating the video classes submitted by the educators on the selected subjects. Over 100 educators participated in the competition, which was conducted as part of GTech’s campus initiative. KTU Vice-Chancellor Dr M S Rajasree declared the winners of the very first competition which was initiated on teachers day of 2021.
“GTech was founded for companies and the IT sector to open up huge opportunities for students and teachers”, says Dr M S Rajsree. She added, “this competition also led to the recognition of the need for teachers and teaching to change with the times and job opportunities.”
