Will NEET 2022 Exam Date be Postponed?

While the NEET 2022 application process is underway and the NEET form last date 2022 is approaching, aspirants are demanding the postponement of the exam for at least a month. The reasons for this demand include clashing of exam dates with CUET and other competitive entrance exams, ongoing NEET 2021 counselling, and less time left for NEET preparation, to name a few.

Several students and activists had filed RTI to NTA to know the status of NEET 2022 postponement but the authorities have mentioned that there is no such plan to postpone the exam date. As of now, there is no indication for NEET 2022 exam date to be postponed. However, the chance of the exam getting postponed cannot be completely undermined either as the NEET exam date is still two months from now.

The exam is scheduled to be conducted from 2 pm to 5.20 pm in 557 cities across India and abroad. Over 15 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the exam for MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, BAMS and other allied medical courses.
