The Bar Council of India has released the final answer key for AIBE 17 for all language papers. AIBE 17 cutoff marks has been dropped as 2 questions have been deleted, and 2 answers have been revised. The result of AIBE 17 are expected to be out anytime soon. The official notification stated, "Dear Candidates, Objection tracker was raised from 13th feb 2023 to 20th feb 2023 after analyzing the objection raised by candidates. There are two questions that have been delete and now the result would be computed on the basis of the remaining 98 questions only and two questions answer key have been change, so please find the revised answer keys of all languages. "

Now, after the revision of answer key, the cutoff marks for AIBE 17 results are as under: 

Category AIBE 17 Minimum qualifying marks criteria AIBE 17 cutoff marks
General/ OBC 40% of total marks  39.2 marks out of 98 marks 
SC/ ST/ PWD category 35% of total marks  34.3 marks out of 98 marks 

The reason being as two questions have been dropped, the AIBE 17 result will be calculated on the basis of 98 marks. For the remaining 2 questions, for which BCI has revised answers, the candidates will get marks if they have attempted the questions.  

AIBE 17 result is expected to be out within next 24 hours as the final answer key was the final step before declaration of results. The exam authority will declare qualifying status of all candidates who appeared for AIBE 17 on February 5, 2023. No scorecards will be issued to any candidate, they will only be informed whether they 'Passed/ Failed' for AIBE XVII. 

The certificate of practice will be issued by the state bar councils within a month of result declaration, and application submission (for COP) by AIBE qualified candidates.
