How to calculate AIBE 19 scores using answer key?
Candidates often wonder how to calculate scores using AIBE 19 (XIX) answer key 2024-25. They can refer to the instructions given below to calculate their scores for the bar examination;
Calculate the number of correct attempts - The official keys will be given in the answer key. So, pick the answer key and question paper for your paper code and then calculate the number of correct attempts. To calculate scores, you need to follow the marking scheme outlined in the AIBE 19 exam pattern 2025.
Calculate the total score: There is no negative marking in AIBE XIX. So, you need to only calculate the correct attempts; allocate +1 marks for each correct answer. Then add the individual scores to arrive at the total score.
Check the qualifying marks: To qualify for the AIBE 19 2024 exam you need to score 40% marks (if you belong to the general category) and 35% marks (if you belong to SC/ST category). But note that post the re-evaluation of the provisional answer key, some questions may be dropped. If that happens, the qualifying cutoff score would be less than 40 marks (or less than 35 marks for SC/ST).
