Why has the AILET 2022 exam been postponed?
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Term-2 board exams for classes 10 and 12 from April 26, 2022. So, there was an overlap of the board and AILET exams. It could be precisely the reason why the AILET 2022 exam has been postponed.
Note that the CLAT 2022 entrance exam has also been postponed. The exam will now be conducted on June 19; it was originally scheduled for May 8.
AILET 2022 application form extended
The extension in the last date is likely a result of the postponement of the entrance exam. The AILET 2022 application form is available in online mode and may be filled by candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria.
Note that the AILET 2022 scores will be used for admission to the 5-year BA LLB, one-year LLM, and PhD courses. The exam syllabus is distinct for all the three programs. The candidate will be able to select the relevant program at the time of filling the application form.
