National Law University (NLU), Delhi has started the online registration process for AILET 2022 on January 17, the last date to register is April 7.

All law aspirants seeking admission to National Law University (NLU), Delhi, through All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2022 must register online at the official website nludelhi.ac.in latest by April 7.

NLU, Delhi to conduct the national-level AILET 2022 on May 1 between 10 to 11:30 am for admission to five-year integrated BALLB, one year LLM, and PhD programmes for the academic session 2022-23. The admit card will be issued online on April 21.

AILET-2022 will be conducted at the following cities: Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam.

Eligibility criteria for these courses through AILET 2022

  • BALLB (Hons): Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 system) or an equivalent examination with 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities). Candidates appearing for the 12th standard annual examination in 2022 are eligible to apply.
  •  LLM program: LL.B. or an equivalent law degree with 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities). Candidates appearing for the final year LL.B. annual examination in 2022 are eligible to apply.
  • PhD program: LL.M. or an equivalent law degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities) 

Total available seats for these courses through AILET 2022 

BALLB (Hons): 110+10 (110 seats on AILET merit; 5 seats each for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO for direct admission on merit). Foreign Nationals/OCI/PIO are exempted from AILET but should have 65% marks in the qualifying examination. Additional Supernumerary Seats: One seat for Kashmiri Migrants and two seats for residents of Jammu & Kashmir.

LLM: 70+10 (70 seats on AILET merit; 5 seats each for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO for direct admission on merit). Foreign

Nationals/OCI/PIO are exempted from AILET.

Additional Supernumerary Seats: One seat for Kashmiri Migrants. 

PhD programs:  18+2 (18 seats on AILET merit and 2 seats for direct admission to Foreign Nationals on merit of Research Proposals). Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET.

NLU, Delhi, official notification reads, "Interested candidates should apply online on payment of application fee of Rs.3,050/-(Rupees Three Thousand Fifty Only). Application fee in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) is Rs.1,050/-(Rupees One thousand Fifty Only). Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants of SC/ST category are exempted from application fee.
