AILET 2024: The All India Law Entrance Test is scheduled to commence from 11 AM today: December 10, 2023. AILET admit card 2024 can be downloaded before 11 AM from the official website: nludelhi.ac.in (if not downloaded till now). Apart from this, candidates must know as well as follow all the AILET 2024 exam day guidelines to avoid any problems later. The important AILET guidelines include: reporting at the exam centre on time, carrying an admit card, not carrying prohibited items or not adopting any unfair means during AILET 2024 exam.

Those going to appear for the AILET 2024 entrance exam must be aware of the timings so that they can reach the AILET exam centre 2024 on time. AILET is conducted by NLU, Delhi to shortlist candidates for admission to BA LLB, LLM and PhD programmes.

Long Bell: Commencement of Entrance Test

No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall/room after this bell

AILET Exam Day General Guidelines 2024 

Candidates must follow the below-mentioned important AILET exam day guidelines while appearing for the entrance exam: 

  • They must carry any one valid photo Id proof along with their AILET admit card 2024. ID proof can be any one of the following: PAN Card/ Aadhaar Card/ Driving License/ Ration Card/ Passport etc
  • They should also carry their black or blue ballpoint pens (at least two) and one HB pencil for filling OMR answer sheet
  • They must report to the AILET 2024 exam centre at least one hour before the commencement of the exam 
  • Those reaching late will not be allowed to appear for AILET 
  • Candidates must stop writing at 12:30 PM 
  • They must return the original OMR sheet. In case any one of them carries the OMR sheet out of the exam hall, it can result in disqualification
  • Only after the invigilator has collected all the AILET OMR sheets, the candidates can leave the examination hall

AILET 2024 Exam Day Guidelines Related to OMR Sheets and Question Papers 

The instructions related to AILET question papers and OMR sheets will be shared by the exam invigilator before the commencement of test. However, here are some general AILET guidelines related to OMR sheets and question papers provided below: 

  • Before candidates start to write answers, they must check all the pages of the AILET 2024 question booklet
  • Space at the end of the question booklet is provided for rough work. Therefore, they should not do their rough work anywhere else
  • Candidates are advised to read the instructions before marking the answer and filling in other details in the AILET OMR sheet 2024
  • They can only use blue/black ball point pen to shade the circles in the OMR sheet
  • While shading the circle, they must fill the circle without leaving any space

What not to carry in AILET 2024 Exam Hall? 

Candidates must not carry any prohibited items or follow any unfair means during the AILET exam 2024. If they are found to indulge in any unfair means their candidature will be cancelled and necessary action will be taken: 

  • Digital Watches
  • Mobile Phones
  • Bluetooth
  • Earphones
  • Pagers
  • Health bands
  • Calculators
