Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has announced the exam date of Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) 2020. The state-level law entrance exam for admission to five-year integrated LLB course and three-year LLB course will be conducted on May 8, 2020. The application form of AP LAWCET 2020 will be available from the second week of March only. Candidates seeking admissions at the law colleges in Andhra Pradesh can appear for the examination.
AP LAWCET 2020 will be conducted in a computer-based test mode for a duration of 1 hour 30 minutes. The question paper of AP LAWCET 2020 will be available in the English and Telugu languages. AP LAWCET 2020 exam pattern is as under:

AP LAWCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates applying for AP LAWCET 2020 should also check the eligibility criteria for their respective course as under:
Five-year Integrated LLB course –
Candidates should have passed or appearing Class 12th qualifying examination or equivalent from a recognised university or Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education.
- The candidates should have obtained 45% marks in the qualifying examination if belonging to General category, 42% marks if belonging to Backward Class (BC) category of the state and, 40% marks if belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Schedule Tribe (ST) category of the state.
- There is no minimum or maximum age limit criteria for admission to the five-year integrated LLB course of AP LAWCET 2020.
Three-year LLB course –
- Candidates should have obtained a bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university
- They should have secured minimum qualifying marks i.e. 45% marks if belonging to General category, 42% marks if belonging to BC category and 40% marks if belonging to SC/ ST category.
- Candidates holding a postgraduate in any discipline are also eligible for admission to three-year LLB course offered at the law colleges of Andhra Pradesh. In such cases, the minimum marks requirement will be the same as above.

APSCHE has also announced exam dates for AP EAMCET 2020, AP ICET 2020, APECET 2020, APPGECET 2020, and APEDCET 2020. However, the exam date for AP PGLCET 2020 is not out yet.
