Bar Council of India virtually inspected RGNUL

RGNUL was virtually inspected by the Bar Council of India after the university filed an application for renewal of approval for the UG course and an extension of seats by 60. BCI processed the application and inspected the university virtually. VC Prof (Dr) GS Bajpai introduced the university and presented an overview of the infrastructure.

In response to the request of the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab to renew the approval and extension of seats by 60, the Bar Council of India virtually inspected the university. A team consisting of five experts from BCI conducted the inspection of the physical infrastructure at RGNUL i.e. Classrooms, Moot Court rooms, Lecture Halls, Auditorium, Administrative Block, University Entrance, Common Rooms, Seminar Halls etc.

The team conducted the inspection of the university infrastructure and asked relevant questions from the RGNUL team. They also virtually interacted with the faculty members.

The Vice-Chancellor Prof (Dr) GS Bajpai introduced the university and presented an overview of the Academic and Physical Infrastructure of the university. He briefed the team of experts from BCI regarding the vision and mission of the university and the future plan of the university. After the faculty interaction, he also gave concluding remarks and answered the queries of the BCI team to their full satisfaction.

The law UG courses need to be approved by BCI and the approval is granted for a fixed period. The BA LLB (Hons) course at RGNUL has been granted approval till the academic year 2022-23, and the approval was due in 2023-24. Accordingly, the university applied for renewal of approval by BCI.
