The Bar Council of India has released an important update for AIBE 2023 appearing candidates. The notification states that candidates will be allowed to carry Copies of Bare Acts, as well as Downloaded Copies of Bare Acts, which was earlier not allowed. Earlier only Bare Acts without short notes was allowed for appearing in AIBE 2023.

The notification released on BCI website stated, "Candidates will also be allowed to carry copies of Bare Acts and Downloaded copies of Acts without notes but if such copies are not available then copies of bare acts with short notes/least notes will be allowed on the basis of prayer by some candidates."
This means all kinds of Bare Acts will be allowed in the exam.
What is allowed?
Candidates can carry:
- Photocopies of Bare Act without Short Notes
- Downloaded/ Printout copies of Bare Act without Short Notes
- Copies of Bare Acts with short notes or least note (if without notes could not be obtained in any condition)
- Bare Acts without short notes (First Preference)
What is not allowed?
The candidates must not carry any of the following for taking AIBE 2023:
- PDF files on mobile phones (with or without SIM card) as phones are prohibited in the examination
- Books
- Preparation Notes
- Reference material (Newspapers, Guess papers, Guides)
- Bare Acts with explanation
AIBE 2023 is being held on February 5, 2023, providing candidates only two days time to plan for the exam day. AIBE 2023 admit cards are now available and candidates must download it at the earliest to avoid last minute rush. Carry printed AIBE 2023 admit card, one valid photo identity proof (Govt. issued), and Bare Acts as allowed.
