If you have been allotted a seat in the first provisional list, please complete the following process before 9 PM 2 nd July 2022.

CLAT 2022 Seat Allotment Process

Candidates need to follow the steps below, in order to secure their provisionally allotted seats:

  • Accept the allotted seat - Candidates have been allotted seats based on their merit rank and preferences marked in the counselling registration process. Therefore, if the candidate agrees with the provisional seat allotment list, then he/she has to reserve it by accepting the allotment and pay the admission fee. They also need to upload the supporting documents as required.
  • Apply for Revise - If the candidate is not satisfied with the provisional seat allotment then he/ she can apply for an upgade/ revise of seat allotment as per their preferences. However, they will have to wait until the next seat allotment list for the preferred NLU.

Even if the candidates are applying for revision of seat allotment, they will have to pay the admission fee and upload their documents on the website. Only candidates who will complete these formalities will be considered for revision.

  • Exit from CLAT 2022 counselling - Candidates who are not agreeing with the allotted seat, and wish to withdraw from CLAT 2022 counselling without revision can choose this option. In this case, candidates will not be considered for the current allotment and further rounds.

Admission fee payment:

After the candidates have paid the admission fees, they need to update the same in their registered account as well. The notification stated, “Please contact the allotted university for fee payment details and complete the same. Please do not call/email CLAT helpdesk for fees related questions. This has to be clarified from the allotted NLU. After the fee payment is completed, update the fee payment information in your CLAT account. Please complete your fees payment before 2nd July 2022, 9 PM. It is mandatory to update your payment information in your login account.
