CLAT 2022 Online counselling registration closing soon, Fill your NLU preferences before 11:59 pm today

CLAT 2022 counselling process for the shortlisted candidates is ongoing. Candidates who have been invited for CLAT 2022 counselling but not registered yet can fill their preferences and pay the counselling fee before 11:59 pm today. 

The counselling process of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2022 qualified candidates is ongoing on the official website. Candidates can fill and submit their preferences from the participating National Law Universities (NLUs) before 12 pm today, June 27. The candidates who will complete the mandatory online counselling for CLAT 2022 only will be able to participate in the seat allotment process. The first merit list of CLAT 2022 will be published on June 30, and candidates have to secure their seat by completing admission formalities like document verification and full admission fee payment. 

Note: Only candidates who have received invites from CLAT Consortium can participate in the online counselling process.

The Consortium has released a notification as part of the counselling instructions, and it stated “Candidates will have to make an online payment of INR 30,000 for general candidates / 20,000 for SC/ST/OBC/BC/EWS/PWD (based on All India Category) to Consortium to register for counselling through their login id on the Consortium website.

Candidates are requested to make the payment before the last date. Requests for payments after the last date will not be considered in any circumstance.

Payments shall be made via online mode ONLY. Candidates are advised not to wait till last minute to make payments, to avoid payment related issues. Consortium will not be responsible for any issues relating to payments. You must wait till you see a ‘Payment Successful’ message. Requests to make payments after the last date due to transaction failures or other issues will not be considered.

Only those candidates who successfully complete the counselling registration process will be considered for allotment of seats.

Mere registration for the counselling will not guarantee you a seat as five times candidates over and above the intake will be invited and registered for the counselling process”

As part of CLAT 2022 counselling, candidates can: 

• Accept the allotted seats 
• Apply for revision of allotment to better their chances
• Exit from the admission seat allotment process
• Withdraw from the allotted seats

The first merit list for CLAT 2022 will be published on the official website by June 30, and candidates who will secure their preferred NLU, can pay the remaining admission fee before July 2 to secure admission.
