The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2023 is being held on December 18, 2022, in a pen-paper based mode. Candidates appearing for CLAT 2023 must download their admit card before December 17, as informed by the exam authority. Moreover, they also need to update college preferences from CLAT 2023 participating National Law Universities.

As informed by the exam authority, "It is mandatory for the candidates to fill their admission preferences to the NLUs before downloading their Admit Card for the CLAT 2023.
Candidates may update their preferences for admission to NLUs anytime before 11:59 pm, December 17, 2022. Any requests for a change in preferences for admission to NLUs after 11:59 pm on December 17, 2022 will not be accommodated.
Candidates must fill a minimum of 5 (five) preferences. There is no outer limit to the number of preferences that may be filled."
On the other GNLU has announced that it will be admitting candidates to its Silvassa Campus on the basis of CLAT 2023 scores, adding it to the list of participating colleges.
The consortium has also released list of coordinators for each NLU so that candidates can connect with them in case of any queries.
