CLAT 2025 Application process is currently underway. The Consortium has released the guidelines for persons with benchmark disabilities. Candidates applying under the given category will get a compensatory time of 40 minutes for the two hours CLAT examination.
CLAT 2025: The Consortium of NLUs has released guidelines for persons with benchmark disabilities (PwD) candidates looking forward to appearing in Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025. The purpose of this guideline is to ensure uniform practice and equal access and opportunities for all candidates, especially Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), and Specially Abled Persons (SAPS) during the conduction of CLAT 2025.
As per the guidelines, the Consortium has stated that "the facility of scribe/reader/lab assistant will be provided to candidates who have benchmark disability of not less than 40 per cent impairment irrespective of the type of disability. The candidates appearing for the CLAT 2025 who are ‘Persons with Benchmark Disability’ as defined in section 2(r) are entitled to compensatory time (extra time) of 40 (forty) minutes for the two-hour CLAT examination. The total time provided to such candidates will be 2 (two) hours and 40 (forty) minutes. "
The notification further added, "The candidate shall have the discretion of opting for his scribe/reader or request the CLAT Consortium for the same. For UG CLAT 2025, the scribe should not have completed more than the 11th grade. The scribe should not be currently enrolled in the 12th grade or higher. The scribe must not be affiliated to any test-preparatory organisation or examination coaching centre. For CLAT PG 2025, the scribe should not have completed more than the 12th grade. The scribe should not be a law student, and must not be affiliated to any test preparatory organisation or examination coaching centre."
CLAT Registration 2025 is currently underway. Candidates can fill out the application form of CLAT 2025 until October 15, 2024. CLAT 2025 Exam Date is December 1, 2024.

Q: Will CLAT be held twice in 2025?
In 2022, CLAT exam was held twice, I. e. on June 19 as CLAT 2022, and on December 18, 2022 as CLAT 2023. However, from 2024 onwards, CLAT exam is to be conducted once in a year only, as confirmed by the exam officials in the latest notification. Earlier, CLAT exam was conducted in May or June, but from 2024 onwards the entrance exam will be conducted in December (of preceding year to the admission year) itself for concluding admissions on time. Therefore, CLAT counselling process will be completed by May of each academic year.

- Unlike other sections, the Quantitative Techniques section includes short sets of facts, propositions, graphs or other textual, pictorial, diagrammatic representation of numerical information

- The difficulty level of questions in the exam is of Class 10 level, however, the questions are more logic-based rather than formulae-based

Q: Where can I get the CLAT 2025 invite list?
Only those aspirants who have been included in the CLAT 2025 invite list will be allowed to appear for CLAT 2025 Counselling. The counselling procedure of CLAT 2025 is conducted through an online centralised system. The counselling is conducted separetly for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The entire process is conducted as per the CLAT 2025 counselling dates that is released by consortium. After every round, the consortium will announce the seat allotment for national law universities (NLUs) that are pariticipating in the admission process.
