CLAT 2025: The Consortium of NLUs will conduct the CLAT 2025 exam on Sunday, December 1, 2024. Candidates appearing for the exam should note that the consortium has released the CLAT 2025 Exam Centre Guidelines. It is crucial for all candidates to carefully review the important instructions before the exam.

The CLAT 2025 will be held in pen-and-paper mode, with the exam scheduled from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Candidates are advised to check important instructions, bell timing and other details beforehand to avoid any last-minute hassle. Candidates must note that the CLAT Scores 2025 will be accepted by 24 National Law Universities for admission to various law courses like; BA LLB, BBA LLB, B.Com LLB and B.Sc LLB and LLM programmes.

CLAT 2025 Exam Day Bell Timings

Candidates can check the bell timing for CLAT Exam 2025 below:

CLAT 2025: Important Dos and Don’ts

Here’s the list of important Dos and Don’ts for the CLAT Exam for easy reference:

Do Carry Your Admit Card Don’t Bring Banned Items
Bring a printed copy of your admit card. Do not bring mobile phones, smartwatches, tablets, calculators, etc.
Do Bring a Valid Photo ID     Don’t Carry Bags or Purses
A valid photo ID like Aadhaar, voter ID, etc.  Bags, purses, and clutches are prohibited
Do Arrive Early Don’t Wear Unnecessary Jewelry
Arrive at least 2 hours before the exam starts Avoid wearing jewelry (rings, bracelets, etc.).
Do Follow the Dress Code   Don’t Leave Your Seat During the Exam
Adhere to the dress code and wear simple, comfortable clothing.    Don’t leave your seat or exam hall once the exam has started.
Do Carry Allowed Items Don’t Communicate with Other Candidates
Carry two passport-size photos, transparent water bottle, and sanitizer.  Do not talk or share materials with other candidates.
Do Read Instructions Carefully Don’t Write on Admit Card or OMR Sheet
Follow all instructions on the admit card and from invigilators Do not make unauthorized marks on admit card or OMR sheet.
Do Use the Washroom Before the Exam Don’t Enter the Exam Hall Late
Use the restroom before the exam begins.  Late arrivals will not be allowed entry after the exam starts.

Q:   When will CLAT Hall Ticket 2025 released?

A:

Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs), the conducting body for CLAT (Common Law Admission Test ) released CLAT 2025 Hall Ticket on November 15, 2024. The Consortium announced the CLAT Admit Card Release Date 2025 earlier. Candidates can download the hall ticket from the official website of consortiumofnlus.ac.in. It is important to note than no candidate will be allowed inside the examination centre without the hall ticket. To know more about the examination, refer to the official website. 

Q:   How many seats are offered by National Law Universities through CLAT?

A:

CLAT Exam is conducted to fill 3,213 seats in undergraduate courses and 1,217 in PG courses. These number doesn't include sponsored, supernumerary, NRI, and extra seats. The admission to 24 NLUs is done on the basis of the CLAT score and the cutoff. Candidates must note that the admission to any of the NLUs will not be done without CLAT score.

Q:   Can I show the digital copy of CLAT admit card at CLAT 2025 Exam centre in case I forget to carry its printout?

A:

No, it is mandatory for candidates to carry and show only the printout of CLAT admit card at the allotted test centre. The consortium of NLUs will release the CLAT 2025 Admit Card atleat ten days before the exam. Candidates will be able to download CLAT 2025 admit card from the official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. until 1.30 pm of December 1. To download the CLAT 2025 admit card, candidates have to enter their registration number/ application number and date of birth. Candidates are not allowed to appear for CLAT Exam 2025 without a valid admit card.
