Latest: CLAT 2025 SC Judgement OUT! Signals Intent to Shift CLAT Result Petitions to Punjab & Haryana HC

Currently, petitions are pending in the High Courts of Delhi, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Bombay, Madhya Pradesh, and Punjab & Haryana regarding the results of the CLAT 2025 exam conducted in December 2024.

The Consortium seeks to consolidate all these petitions and transfer them either to the Supreme Court or a designated High Court. A bench led by Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna, along with Justice PV Sanjay Kumar, is scheduled to hear the transfer petition today. If the SC announced the revision of CLAT 2025 Result, it is likely that the CLAT Answer Key 2025 will be revised too and candidates will be allowed to raise objection on the same.

In December 2024, the Supreme Court declined to entertain a petition challenging the answer keys of the CLAT-PG 2025 exam, directing the petitioners to approach the High Courts instead.

Additionally, in December 2024, a single judge of the Delhi High Court determined that two answers in the CLAT-UG 2025 exam were incorrect and instructed the Consortium to revise the petitioners' results. When the Consortium appealed this decision, the division bench stated that they did not find any apparent error in the single bench’s judgment.
