CLAT 2025: The Consortium of National Law Universities has revised reservation criteria for MNLU, Aurangabad and Mumbai for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). The notice stated, “For UG and PG, Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) reservation has been added. Candidates with domicile of Maharashtra are eligible to apply. Eligible candidates are requested to update their reservations.” CLAT 2025 Registration Process is currently underway and candidates will be able to apply for CLAT 2025 on or before October 15, 2024. Candidates must submit the CLAT application form 2025 online at the official website: consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
The notification further stated the "If any candidate wishes to change the reservation categories, should login to their CLAT account and click on the Edit Application button. Go to the Reservation tab and under MNLU, Mumbai and MNLU, Aurangabad, for the question – “Do you want to claim state level reservation of Maharashtra?’’, answer – “Yes’’ and select the reservation category you want to claim in the dropdown. Finally click on the Submit button to save changes. If any candidate has any question, should send an email to clat@consortiumofnlus.ac.in OR can reach out to the helpdesk on 08047162020 (between 10:00 am to 05:00 pm on all working days)."
How to update the reservation category in CLAT 2025 form?
Candidates can follow the simple steps given below to update the reservation category are given below:
- Visit to the official website: consortiumofnlus.ac.in
- Login to CLAT candidate account
- Click on the edit application button
- Go to the reservation tab under MNLU Aurangabad, Mumbai
- For the question - Are you a domicile of Assam? answer yes and select the Reservation Category you want to claim from the given drop-down menu
- Click the submit button to save changes

No, the CLAT 2026 Application Form is not out yet. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) is expected to begin the CLAT 2026 Registration Process in July and candidates can apply on or before the last date. CLAT 2026 Exam Date has not been announced yet. However, it is expected to be held on December 7, 2025. Candidates must note that CLAT 2026Application Form can be filled online only. Only those candidates who will fill CLAT Application Form 2026 successfully, will be issued CLAT admit card and will be allowed to appear in the CLAT Exam.

Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered at National Law Universities (NLUs) must note that the CLAT 2025 Notification has been released. Along with the CLAT 2025 Official Notification, the Consortium has also released CLAT 2025 Important Dates too. CLAT Registration Process 2025 began on July 15, 2024. The last date to fill CLAT Application Form 2025 was October 15, 2024 earlier. However, it was later extended and candidates could register until October 22, 2024. CLAT 2025 registration fee was INR 4,000 for general category candidates and INR 3,500 for SC, ST and BPL candidates. In case, aspirant wish to get previous year question papers, they had to pay INR 500 while filling up the CLAT 2025 Application Form.
