The SK Misra Memorial International Mediation and Negotiation Competition 4.0 by Lloyd Law College will be held from March 25 to March 27, 2022.
Lloyd Law College is a premier educational institution offering legal education since the year 2003 in affiliation with CCS University, Meerut, U.P. (state university established in 1965), and approved by the Bar Council of India. It will organise the SK Misra Memorial International Mediation and Negotiation Competition 4.0 from March 25 to March 27, 2022.
The purpose of this competition is to equip the students with basic negotiation and mediation skills and help them enhance their Alternative Dispute Resolution skills in an online environment. It gives an opportunity for the students to strengthen their communication skills and identify key factors that must be considered in online mediation.
The competition provides the opportunity to mediate and negotiate in a specialized area and helps lay down the foundation of an aspiring ADR enthusiast in this highly regarded profession that must be taken into account when communicating with multiple parties online.
It enables them to get past any potential communication barriers that might arise during an online mediation. Through this competition, the participants will get a chance to work as a team, develop working relationships with people, and learn how to deal with problems that could occur in a team.
Students who graduated before the competition but no longer than three months before the start of the competition are still eligible to participate.
The team shall complete the provisional registration on or before January 20, 2023, through the given link of Google Form: https://forms.gle/Kgf7SEAcpp5gv83B9
Upon receiving the confirmation of the vacant slot from the Organizing Committee, the teams must confirm their final registration on or before January 31, 2023.
The registration fee for an Indian team is INR 5000/- and for any international team is USD 70. The registration fee includes an invitation for all registered team members to all events of the competition, including any occurring training, the opening reception, and the award ceremony. Failure to transfer the registration fee on time or in full will result in the loss of the university's spot in the competition. The transfer must indicate the name of the university for which the transfer has been made. Once the payment is made, it is non-refundable in any circumstances.
