NALSAR invites papers for IJIPL journal by December 30, 2022

NALSAR has invited papers for the Indian Journal of Intellectual Property Law (IJIPL) latest by December 30, 2022.

The Indian Journal of Intellectual Property Law (IJIPL) is the flagship intellectual property law journal of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. IJIPL is India's first student-run journal that is wholly devoted to the study of intellectual property law.

The Journal is presently soliciting submissions for its 13th Volume, to be released tentatively in July 2023. Undergraduate students, post-graduate students, practitioners, faculty and other academicians are invited to contribute to the Journal in the form of essays, articles, notes and comments. The last date for submission of papers is December 30, 2022.

NALSAR VC Prof Srikrishna Deva Rao to represent India at 41st Universal Policy Review by UN 

Prof Srikrishna Deva Rao, current Vice Chancellor of NALSAR and former Vice-chancellor of National Law University Delhi will be representing India as a delegate at the 41st Universal Policy Review by the U.N. Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland. The telecast of India's Universal Periodic Review shall be taking place from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m IST today.

Universal Periodic Review (UPR) was created by the UNHRC in 2006, as a mechanism to periodically review the human rights records of all 193 member States of the United Nations. It aims to improve compliance with international human rights law and ensure better human rights outcomes in every country. Designed as a capacity-building exercise – and not an adversarial one – the review is dependent upon information provided by states in their 'National Report'; information from international human rights bodies; and information from other stakeholders.
