National Law University Odisha organises Medico-legal Camp

NLUO has organised the medico-legal camp under the aegis of project KUTUMB on October 16, here are the details.

National Law University, Odisha has organised a medico-legal camp under the aegis of project KUTUMB on October 16 at Babatilka Nagar, CDA Cuttack, Odisha.

During the camp, various activities were undertaken by students from the Centre for Mediation and Negotiation, ranging from spreading awareness about mediation as a dispute resolution tool, in addition to the provisioning of medical services. 

NLUO conducts fundraising event for underprivileged aspiring law student

IDIA, NLUO chapter recently conducted a fundraising event- 'Popcorn and no spoilers- A cinematic experience' on October 14.

In this, a unique cinematic experience was offered along with the choicest selection of snacks for the audience and charged a minimal registration amount, tweeted NLUO.

This small contribution was for the underprivileged aspiring law student for whom it could be a beacon of hope. All the proceeds from the event will be donated towards the cause of IDIA. 

Informal Discussion Group, NLUO

"We are pleased to announce that the Informal Discussion Group, NLUO will be hosting its first Student Discussion. This time, considering the massive impact of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, our discussion will be on the theme of 'The Russia-Ukraine Conflict: Paving the way for World War III?'," reads NLUO's official notification.

The suggestive sub-themes for the student discussion are as follows:

1. Impact of conflict in oil prices, geopolitical front, inflation and global order.

2. India's position in Russia- Ukraine conflict.

3. Who is responsible for the war- West, Ukraine or Putin?

4. Thoughts on the humanitarian crisis?
