NLSIU invites applications for Chief of Staff 

National Law School of India University (NLSIU) has invited online applications from dynamic and accomplished professionals for the full-time post based in Bangalore of Chief of Staff (Office of the Vice Chancellor). The last date for submission of the application is October 31, 2022.

The essential educational qualifications of the candidate must be a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks and 8 or more years of overall work experience.

The admission will be on a permanent basis till the age of superannuation i.e. 60 years, subject to confirmation after the satisfactory completion of one year’s probation and the pay structure would be Level 10/11/12 as per the VIIth CPC based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.

The desirable qualifications include - Master’s degree/Post-graduate diploma in any discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks and an undergraduate degree in law and prior experience in legal practice.

Selection will take place in two parts. In Part 1, candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio on review of their applications as against the number of vacancies for the Interview round (Part 2). In Part 2, the Interview Selection Panel shall score candidates out of a total of 50 marks for selection to the posts. 

The official notification reads, "Candidates shall have to produce original documents at the time of interview. Where the number of applications received in response to this advertisement is large and it may not be convenient or possible for NLSIU to interview all the candidates, NLSIU reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit."
