NLU Delhi and SOAS Launched One-Year Joint LLM/MA in Environmental Justice

The National Law University, Delhi (NLUD) and SOAS University of London have launched LL.M./M.A. programme focused on Environmental Justice in South Asia. The LLM/MA Environmental Justice in South Asia is an innovative 1-year course that provides a unique and transformative learning experience. The course incorporates a core taught component, a clinical component and a dissertation. 

Those interested can apply via SOAS only for this programme. The LLM/MA programme fee for all students is: £12,354. They must note that the fees may increases on a yearly basis. For this programme students must pay the total programme fee by October 31, 2024. 

Who are eligible for One-Year Joint LLM/MA in Environmental Justice in South Asia? 

Those willing to apply for this programme must meet all the entry requirements for either the LLM or the MA:

  • MA: A 2:2 (or international equivalent) or higher in a relevant Social Sciences subject for students other than India is required. For those applying from India and holding a BA/BSc/BCom from India must have completed an integrated four-year degree programme to be eligible for the course
  • LLM: Students wishing to apply for the LLM programme must have completed an LLB. If they have a lower degree classification, their application may be considered only if they can present a strong case, either through relevant work experience, other legal qualifications, or a strong supporting statement. References are not required but can help build a stronger application if they fall below the 2:2 requirement or have non-traditional qualifications
