NLU Delhi Closes BA LLB Admission Fee Submission Window on April 30, No Hostel Facility for Delhi NCR Residents

The National Law University Delhi is accepting the balance fee for admission to the BA LLB (Hons.) course until April 30, 2024. Candidates who were selected for admission to the course can submit the balance fee by logging in to their AILET account.

The National Law University Delhi is accepting the balance fee for the BA LLB admission till April 30, 2024, for the Academic Year 2024-25. Students who have been provisionally added the course are required to pay the till the mentioned date. If they fail to do so, their admission will be cancelled and their seats will be allotted to the next candidate in order of AILET 2024 merit under concerned category from the Waiting List. The balance fee payable by the candidates has been updated in their AILET login account. The NLU Delhi BA LLB (Hons.) admission fee 2024 for candidates belonging to General / Kashmiri Migrants / Residents of Jammu and Kashmir categories is INR 1,77,000. However, the admission fee for candidates of SC / ST / OBC / EWS / PWD Categories is INR 1,67,000. 

In addition to this announcement, NLU Delhi also declared that there will be no facility for hostel allotments to candidates who are residents of Delhi, NCR. This is because of the unavailability of a sufficient number of hostels at the institution. Hostels will be allotted to candidates from other states or UTs. 

All provisionally enrolled candidates in the BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM Programmes are hereby requested to create their APAAR/ABC ID as it has been made mandatory by the Department of Higher Education, Government of India. Students who have already created their ABC ID are also required to create their respective APAAR ID. Check out how APAAR/ABC ID here.

Steps to Create APAAR/ABC ID

Refer to the following steps to create your APAAR/ABC ID: 

  • Visit the Academic Bank of Credit (ABC Bank) website.
  • Access the "My Account" section and select the 'student' category.
  • Click on "Sign up" and provide your mobile number and Aadhaar card details to establish a DigiLocker account. Students with an existing ABC ID may directly "sign in."
  • Log into the DigiLocker Account using the provided credentials.
  • DigiLocker will request your consent to share your Aadhaar card details with ABC for KYC verification. Select "I Agree."
  • The DigiLocker Account will redirect to the Academic Bank of Credits. Access the form to create the APAAR/ABC ID by clicking on Academic Bank of Credits.
  • Provide the requested academic information such as admission year, identity type, identity value, institution name, etc.
  • Submit the form, and the APAAR/ABC ID card will be generated.
  • After creating the APAAR/ABC ID, students are required to provide the details APAAR/ABC ID.
  • In order to provide the above details, the candidates are required to login to their AILET Account.
