NLU Delhi Starts Registration for Faculty Development Programme

NLU Delhi FDP Registration 2024: The National Law University (NLU) Delhi has opened the window to register for the five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) in International Law. Interested candidates can register for NLU Delhi FDP online at the official website till January 31, 2024. The Faculty Development Programme on International Law will be held from February 12 to 17, 2024. 

The International Law Faculty Development Program (FDP) aims to improve the teaching, learning, and research abilities of early career researchers and academics involved in both the theoretical and practical dimensions of International Law, where there is a need for deeper comprehension. It aims to provide the participants with an opportunity to acquire knowledge about contemporary developments that are taking place in various specialised fields of International Law. 

How to register for Faculty Development Programme (FDP) in International Law? 

To register for FDP, candidates have to visit the official website of NLU Delhi. They can go through the steps to know how to register: 

Step 1: Go to the official website: 

Step 2: On the homepage, scroll down and click on Faculty Development Programme' on International Law

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen 

Step 4: Now, scroll down and click on registration and payment link 

Step 5: A Google doc will appear on the screen 

Step 6: Fill up the form and submit it 

The University is also pleased to announce that, as a part of the FDP, it will host a panel discussion on the topic of ‘India and the Shaping of International Law; Why it Matters, Where are we and Where do we go from here?’ The participants in this Panel Discussion are eminent figures in both the theory and practice of International Law in India. 

Notable among them are Dr. Aniruddha Rajput, a distinguished professor at NLUD and former member of the International Law Commission (2017-22) who also served as the Chairperson of the Drafting Committee, Dr. Prabhash Ranjan, Dr. R.V Anuradha, a Partner at Clarus Law Associates, and Dr. Luther Rangreji from the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. Following the panel discussion, a distinguished jurist will deliver a keynote address.

The FDP aims to deepen the participants’ understanding of modern teaching tools and methodologies that are deployed by scholars in the field of International Law. More importantly, this interactive and inclusive programme will shed light on new, tried and tested, result-driven and impact-based methods of teaching basics of International Law and its various specialised areas by leading global experts in the field.
